**Activities:** To relieve, either generally or individually, mariners or former mariners, or the widows of mariners, or former mariners, resident in the Borough of Boston, who are in condition of need, hardship or distress.  Charge sufficient rents to run and maintain 3 properties and to invest capital to provide cash grants and other expenses.  Christmas grants given to qualifiying persons who apply for them.
