through voluntary donations which were collected through 3 main sources:
Online Donation5 through the website.

Direct Oonations received through the bank.
Fundraising from indi￿dual5 is ￿refullY controlled lollDwin8 irbternal guidelines and all public donatiOll5 involve individuals
directty approachin8 the Charty. No professional fundrai5er5 were used during the year. Instead, the Head of Finance is
responsible for overseeing compliance wth regulation5 and best prartI￿. There are no complaints recorded and no cold calling

tolerance arid hèrrnony for the Mu51irn iommunity in London and throughout the United Kingdotn and for sotiety 35 è whole. It is
frÈquÈnted by thousands of worshippers weekly. This ststus has Ènabled it to provide 3 large number of attivities to edutate and
encourage Muslims to assume POSiti¥e roles in their communities and the sotiety in whith they live.
It has been dedded to leave the Islamic Exhibition open indefiniiely to serve the group visits as well as indNidual vlslts to the
Centre.

purpose is to address fèmily problems. inheiit3n¢e cases and issuin8 Islamic fatwas rdated to the eases that apply to Muslims in
the UK. The Commission is chaired by the Oifectef Gener31. Mèny ol the Muslim communities in the UK, and in Europe, have
stsrted to benefit from its sewi£es. We have also received referrèls from offici31 bodies in Muslim wuntries to collaborète with
them on certain issuesl cases. The CFSA aims to cover most important issues that lack a proper service for the Muslim community
such ès family matters, inheritance cèses, wlls. arbitiation aC￿dIng10 the Islamic values.

The London Central M05que & Islamic Curtural Centre wa$ estsbli5hed IN 1944 wilh ¢wo of its objedives bein8 the buildin8 of
osque and the founding of a rultural ind religious centre in London for Ihe Muslirn omrnunity of Great Britain. In 1945,
followin8 an offer mède on behalf of the Crown by the Commissioners of Crown Lands, the London Central Mosque & Islamlc
Cultural Centre beeème trustee of Re8ent's Lodge, ènd since that date has or8anised religious and culturèl activities on the site,
while seekin8 to obtain fundin8 necessary for the cot)struttion of a mosque. After a donètion from HM Kin8 Faisal of Sèudi Arabl
construction commenced in 1973. ènd in 1978 the main buildin8 complex was completed. Another building for administrètion was
added In the slte during the 90's of the 20th Century through the dOnat￿n of HM King Fahèd of Saudi Arabia. After 2CiII the
boundary wall was built with the donatien of H.M. Sultèn Qaboos of Oman, and the front gate with a donatlon from H.R.H Sh.
Hamad Al Thani, Ambr of Qatar.

Our work with the Police to stop the public from collecting money on the pavements on Frldèy when about 5,lJCrfJ
people use the facilities of the Cenrre been hugeW successful. The mission to help secure safety and security of the
worshippers and visitors. still more needs ro be done and ro awoid any possibility ef attacks on the worshippers and the
building.. The Centre uses the service of 3 priv*e security firm. which was extended many year5 ago to twenty-four
heurs per day. The number of security men and hours hawe been increased. despite limited resources. We coorditiate
with the Police and the local 3Uthorities for huge con8regations on Eid days when around 20,￿ people come in one
day to pray and weekly Friday prayers whith are attended by some five thou5and1S.(XX>I worshipper5. There is a huge
Police presence on thJt dav.

The Board of Trustees Is responslble for the ¢)vers¢eing of the risks f•¢ed by the ¢harty. Detailed ¢ofisiderations gf risk are
delegated to the Director fjeneral. Risks ao identified, assessed and rontiols established throughout the year. A formal review ef
the thèrity's risk management pro¢esses is ￿￿ertaken tyi an anfiual basis. ￿'sk is maM8ed under the headings of finan¢lal
sust3in3billty, projects, and events.
Through the risk management processes established forthe charity, the Ooard are satisfied that the major rlsks Identified have
been adequately mitigated where necessary. It is recognised that systemscan only yovide reasonable but not absolute assurance
that major rlsks have been adequately manèged.
Reserve pollty
It Is the policy of the chadty that unrestricted funds which have not been d￿gnated for a specific use should be maintalned at a
level equivalent to four months, expendlture of approximaiely £3￿.¢Y￿1. Furthermore. such reserves take into consideration the
future refurbishment work that will be carried on during the fie￿ year. The trusiees consider thèt reserves at this level wlll ensure
that. in the eveni of a SlBnificant drop in fundin& Ihey will be able io coniinue the charity's curreni activities while consideration
15 given to ways in which additional funds may be raised. This level of reserves ha5 been maintsined throughout the year and at
the year-end free reserves were £2,923.988.

more. The measures the Council of Management have ia*en has proven to be succe55ful and are confident that the charity
can continue a5 a goin8 concern having a reasonoble expertatiorb that the charity h35 adequate free reserves and resource5 to
ontinue in operation for the foreseeable luture. Thus, the Trustees continue to adopt the goinaconcern bJ5is of accounting in
prepèring the finan¢i•l ststtments.
