TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL RECREATION, FURTHERING HEALTH, RELIEVING POVERTY, DISTRESS OR SICKNESS. 2. TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE BODIES. 3. TO ARRANGE OR PROVIDE FOR THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS OF THE COMMITTEE

**Activities:** Eccleston Old People's Welfare Committee provides human resources and buildings facilities for a wide range of community activities including old people's bingo (Monday and Thursday), Gardening Club, Lectures and Classes, Learning, pre-school group, Bridge Clubs, Weight Watchers, Board Gamers, Farmers' Wives, baby massage/bonding, French for toddlers & hires out the hall on a one-off basis
