## **Annual General Meeting 29[th] September 2025** 

## **Chairperson’s Report  - Mrs Eirian Lloyd** 

Blwyddyn arall wedi mynd heibio. Another year has gone by. 

Croeso cynnes i chi gyd. A warm welcome to you all. 

Mis Medi 2024 dechreuwyd trefniadau i cael partition o grant i’r neuadd. Trwy CAVO cawsom Tim Griffin o Severn Wye. Tim oedd yn grififol am cael y partition ac dechre blwyddyn fe ddaeth y partition ac mae yn eu le. 

Through CAVO we had Tim Griffin from Severn Wye who was in charge of the partition and it is now in place. 

Yn Tachwedd 2024 cawsom glywed ein bod wedi derbyn grant o £48,234 gan Cronfa Cymunedol.  Nawr roedd rhaid cael adeiladwyr i neud y Gwaith. Dyswyd Cwmni D.N.Davies  (Meinir oedd wrth yr helm) . Buont yn gweithio yn ddiwyd – ail neud y to, llonau, peintio ac yn y blaen. Gwaith wedi gorffen a noson agored ar 12fed Awst. Diolch i D.N.Davies am pob help a chyngor ac hefyd in Glenda am rhoi stove newydd. Prynwyd codeinau, fordiau a llestri newydd I’r neuadd. 

In November 2024 we heard that a grant of £48,234 was to be awarded by the Community Fund of the National Lottery for our project. Builders were chosen:- D.N.Davies and carried out the work. Thanks to John Collingwood for keeping a look out for the work. Work was finished and an opening night was held on 12[th] August 2025. 

Fe ddaeth y project yma heb pen tost o llawer o ebostiau nol ac ymlaen ond fe ddaethon trwyddi. The project did come with a few headaches and a lot of e mails back and forth, but we got there in the end. 

Nawr mae’r neuadd wedi  ail agor ac mae angen cael pobl/grwpiau  eu defnyddio  - ar hyn o bryd mae gynnym grwp crefft , Cyngor Cymuned, Merched y Wawr ac mae’r clwb snwcer wedi dechrau. 



The Hall has reopened and we now need people and groups to use - we have already Craft Club Community Council, Merched y Wawr and a Snooker club has started. 

Nawr ma rhaid gen i fel Cadeiryddes diolch o galon i chi fel pwyllgor am pob help a barn yn ystod y flwyddyn ac enwedig yn ystod  y project. Ni wedi gweithio fel tIm. 

Now it is time for me as Chairperson to thank you as a Committee for all the help and opinion through this project and during the year. As they say, “we have worked as a team”.
