Achievements and performance
The Grasmere Reading Rooms & Social Cub
We were unable to open until week 6 of the
financial year due to Covid restrictions Due to the
time the club closed for the covid pandemic we
offered free membership this year for those
members who paid last year.
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during tho year
The reading rooms have recommenced being
used for meeting by a number of groups.
We no longer have a snooker team in the
Milnthorpe snooker league but members and
guests still use the snooker room for social
games and in house competitions. We have still
been able to maintain the rooms as a valuable
asset and keep bar prices low to allow local
people to socialise and enjoy Snooker, Pool,
Bingo, entertainment, dominoes and quiz
evenings. Membership forms can be found and
subs paid at the club bar. If you would like to find
out more about the club or get involved please
come down and meet us during opening hours or
contact Ryan Askew, Alan Coates, Stephen,
Hebson, Alan Hetherington or Paul Hetherington.

Section E
Financial review
The conlinu8d impa¢t of Covid 19 in closing the reading rooms has
reduced the income of the club from nomial aGtivities. This has been
offset by the receipt of govemmenl support grants.
Payments in respecl of bar stock have fallen in line with the closure of the
reading rooms.
Overall net funds have increased by £12,755
