Financial Review

Total receipts for the year, including investment income, were £161,238 compared to £11,066 in 2021/22. The large increase in income is because we received £150,000 from the proceeds of a house sale which was left to the BCFF in a legacy. £15,997 (2021/22: £7,050) was paid out in grants and professional fees which left an excess of receipts over payments for the year of £145,241 (2021/22: £4,016).

The assets of the charity are represented by bank balances of £163,594 and Central Board of Finance investments with a market value at the yearend of £367,054.
