Principal activity continues to be that of licensed victuallers at the Blackfiiars Arts Ceiitre premises.
Blackfriars Club L￿'S principal objects are to provide fInancial and su¢li oti)ei' fornis of support as the directois
tiiink fit to Blackfi'iars Arts Centie Ltd. Tlie coinpaiiy entei'ed into a deed of covenant whereby all its
distributable profits were paid to Blackfri￿￿ Ai'ts Centre Ltd, and as sucli. no dividends were payabl¢ by that
company. The deed of covenallt now comes witl)in tile Gift Aid arrangert￿ftts. During the Ye￿ a loss of £93 was
inade by tl)e Club ineaning Gift Aid of £20.97] was paid io the Arts Centre, (2024- £375 loss and Gift Aid of
£10,059).
Development, actlvltles and &ehlevemeThts this year
Tl)e tru$tees continue to find ways to secure the fu￿re of Blackfri2rs Art Centr¢ l.td. The management group is
continuing to look at ways of providin(r fijnding witliout relying on grants from Boston Borough Coiincil.
The interest fiEe loan from niembei's of tl)e public rdi8¢d rev¢nu¢ of £22,470 and is still outstanding.
BlackfriaTS Arts Centre focus¢s on con¢￿ts and stage perforniances, froin both professioivdl acts and 8mat¢w'
community groups. The pi'ogramme achiev¢s a mix to suit a l'ange of public tastcs, such as drama, ball¢t,
usicaly, opeiz and tributc acts. At Christmas each yeat there is 8 pantomime, which was w¢ll atteiided this
year.
We l)ave finished our tl)ird year a5 aTt Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. We've made good
progress with this over die l&st year.
Future developments
Th¢ board of Ellackfriars continues to press aiiead with exciting Cl￿nge5 and improv¢mcnts for the future,
cmbiacing its role as a National Portfolio OI"ganisatioiTr with Arts Council Englaiid. Applying for available granl
funding and exploring otl)er projects and revenue streains to secure the future of Blackfiiars Aris Centre.
Tl)e new Executive and Creative Director lias been ta%ked with delivei'ing oui. NPO objectives &% well as
