The focus of our acliviliès remains the Pfovision ol sheltered accommodation for female pensioners. This 5erviee

Independent.
In addition the charity provides grants for educallonal purposes. Th8se grants ar8 available lo be￿rItIar1és
regardless ol their age. gender or personal circumstances. The Truslees believe that this encourages people lo
pursue educational training and qualificalions in order lo improve their employment prospects.
Wemare grants are also paid out lo disadvaniaged persons recommended lo Ihe Trustees. The Trustees believe
that thi5 8ncoura98s peoplo in disadvaniag8d clrcumstgnces lo help Ihemsolves and so improve Ihg quaity of th8lr
lives.
We have referred lo the guidance o)nlained In the Charity Commission's goneral guklance on public benofft when

The ¢harity's income is generated from UK investments listed on the London Slo¢k Exchange. These 8re managed
on 8 discretsonary basls by investrnenl adwsors who seek to achieve a b81anced ￿luM of Ixplh income and capital
growth. The performance of the stock mar1(el is outside the control ol the charity 8n(I therefore the resullanl income
generated 8n(I capital performance of its investsnents may impact on the level of Income the charity is able lo uts'lise.
