Revlew and activlties for Ihe year
During the year the charity mel four limes lo conslder appllcalions wllh the objectives ol
the charity, lo review the financial strategy of the charity and the ongoing and future
actiwlies of the charity.
The Iruslees have continued to promote the objects ol the charity through organizalions
connected wth graphittal. pap@r and media industries.
The charity awarded 10 grants tolalling £6,71312020 22 grants £7,204).
The surplus for the year was £13,27612020 £9,709). This is again due lo investments
producing a suitable income.
Reserves pollcy
The charily has set up an investment reserve to help lo provide the necessary grants and
donations in accordance with ils objects.
Sarasin & Partners are appointed investment advisers, the non-cash investments are
managed under a Oiscretionary Management S8rvice.
In accordance with the Slalemenl of Investment Principles, Sarasin r&ports regularly to
lo the Twslees.
The market value of the investments al the end ol 31 March 2021 were £897,275131
March 2020 £740,380). The value ol investments ￿anaged by Sarasin has increased in
value by £156,894 .
Markets have recovered due lo conlldence in economic recovery from the impact ol Govid-19

Respeclive responsibilities of trusteès and examiner
The charity's Iruslees are responsible lor the preparation of the accounts. The charitls Iruslees
consider that an audit is not required lor this year under sgclion 144 01 the Charities Act 2011
(the 2011 Acll and that an independent examination is needed.

lo follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515llbl ol the 2011 Act., and

Basis of independent examlner's report
My examination was carried OLJI in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Cornmission.
An examination includes a review ol the accounting records kept by the charity and a cornparison of the
accounts presented Mfjlh those records.11 also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclogures in
the account8, and seeking explanations from you as Iruslees concerning any such mallers. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is
given as lo whether the accounts present a'lrue and lair view, and the report is limited to those matters sel
out in the statement bolow.
