Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the chartty
during the year
Social and Spiritual
We continued our educational and social care wo¥k thmughout the year
following the arrival of two new Sisters, one who had been working in
Jerusalem for I l y¢ars as a TheolO￿an and avietnamese who had been
posted to onc of our schools in France for a period of l O year5. This
facilitated scveral developments due to the fact that they are bi-lingual
which pcrmitted visits to famllies with whom we had less contact than
previously. Tliey are attending lessons in the local college to irnprove
their English languagc skills.
One Sister works as a Carer in a local Care Home where she also acts as
Chaplain and another works as Chaplain in a large Secondary School
within the Dioccse.
Two of our elderly Sisters are cared for within the community and we
invited elderly members of the local cornmunity for lunches.
We estimate that the community made approximately 20 weekly visits to
the elderly and vulnerable IT) our local eornmunity as well as receiving
approximately 35 individual visits over the year from people se¢king
spiritual help or counscl.
A week]y mass on Wednesdays was attended by another group and
meetings for lay associates also met several times.
One Sister directed Retreats for interns from the Centre for Th￿lOgY and
Community, Sixth Fortners as well as for groups who met for Days of
Recollection throughout the y¢ar within our Convent. She also attended
tlie Profession of Vows for another Religious Ord¢r in her capacity as

church and siiice the 60,5 With Inter-Faith communities. We see thi5 as a
means of wcaving the fabric of our society since we were established to
work for Unity amoiig the peoples with whorn we live.
In this resPCCt onc of our Sisters delivered training sessions for interns
