**Objects:** 1. TO PROVIDE RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN SIGN LANGUAGE. 2. TO PROVIDE MEANS OF SOCIAL INTERCOURSE MENTAL CULTURE AND REASONABLE RECREATION FOR THE DEAF AND DUMB AND THEIR FRIENDS. 3. TO ASSIST IN FINDING WORK FOR THOSE OF GOOD CHARACTER. 4. GENERALLY, THE PROTECTION AND PROMOTION OF THE WELFARE OF THE DEAF AND DUMB WITHOUT ANY RELIGIOUS OR OTHER DISTINCTION. **Activities:** The principal activity of the GMD continues to be that of the provision of means of social engagement and recreational activities,  emotional and mental wellbeing, training and support for the Deaf and their friends. In addition the protection and promotion of the welfare and interests of the profoundly deaf in the three counties of Glamorgan, without religious or other distinction.
