Area Meeting Reserves Fund is managÈid by the Area Meeting to tninlmise erosion by inflation whilst
tnalntaining availability for urgent requiremertts. The Trustees will administer the alliKation of money
from the Reserve Fund in a prompt and fair way.

The Area Meeting employs Peninsula Busine#s servi￿ Limited as consultsnts for health and safety.
Jnd human resources. Penin¢ula has provided risk n)dnagemeftt systems for eaclt of the Lotal
Mvetlngs, gives advice as required, and vlslts each Local MÈ•hng annually to ensure tlidt guiaelines aFe
being followpd. Whb)1¥ appropnate. Local Meettngs have implcmented policles for satequardlng
ehildrei) vulnerable adults. The Trustees hève also overseen the way each Meetino House is being
managed by regular visits and by 5tron9ly encourn9ing each of the L¢￿31 Meetlngs to provide at least
one Trustee.
KEY PLANS FOR ThE FuniRE
Regular n)vriitortng by the Clerklno Tpam. Tr￿s￿re￿ and the Trust￿$ has helped to en*ure that the
Area Meetino continues to fiJnction errerttvely and meet Its tharitable objettivès. Unfortunatclyj It Is
still proving to be dlfficult to flno people to tske on essential roles wlthin the Area Meeting and Local
Meetlngs. The viability of some of our Meetings remains a concem to the Trustees. however the
regional Vlbrancy Offi'cer has helpert Eeveral Local Meetin9s idL'kle problems that have been hlnderln9
thelr development. Trustees will continue to revieY¢ & u￿are. Area Me•ting policies the liyht of new
legi3latioii & guidelines. With continiiing rgthrtion3 due to Uie Q)rona virus, Trustees will utiliso thc
oppcjrtlinities online, for busin¢s& meetrngs, networklng & support through th• usè of the Zoom
platform.

Area Meeting is committed to enc￿raging and lielplng Local Me&ings. anfl their Members and
Atten(Jers, to use reJources in fairer and more sustalnablp wayg. Lgcal Meetin95 been asked to
monitor their sustdlnabllity activities so that they ean re.port thasr progrcss In future 4nnuai reports.
