## **SHERWOOD & WAUDBY CHARITY. ANNUAL REPORT 2020.** **The effect of Coronavirus effectively brought the village to a halt for most of the year which meant most organisations were not able to seek grants from the Charity as would normally be the case. Nevertheless £1,718 was paid to 3 village groups. Fortunately, and as a great relief, all our tenants avoided the worst of this disease though there was a minor rent delay which has been subsequently resolved. Properties have been fully occupied and maintained as required. Despite some delay, the new build costs are concluded. Repayments of the consequential mortgage are being kept up to date but a healthy financial year end position justifies future consideration of making a partial early repayment.** **The Helen Coulson ( Dunning ) Memorial Trust continues to be administered by the Charity and a total of £1,000 has been awarded during the year to 5 village students towards their medical studies. Since the Trust was set up 12 years ago, a total of £14,600 has been granted to 84 students. The Trust remains in a sound financial position with a concluding year balance of £12,019.** **George Southern Chairman.
