Activities

The Rainbow Centre is a community centre for the Over 50s. We have about 20 different activities taking place throughout the week, which include Tai Chi, Art classes, sequence dancing, computer classes, short mat bowling etc. We operate a luncheon club and provide meals for luncheon clubs both at the Centre and in the community.

Objects: Are To Promote The Following Purposes For The Benefit Of The Public And/or Older People In And Around Lancaster (“the Area Of Benefit”): 3.1 Advancing Education; 3.2 Preventing Or Relieving Sickness, Disease Or Suffering In Older People (whether Emotional, Mental Or Physical); 3.3 Assisting Older People In Need By Reason Of Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship, Social Exclusion Or Other Disadvantage; And 3.4 Such Other Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of Older People As The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide
