-After twenty three years of life ift Fleet Street and six months at Toynbee Hall in Whitechapel, I had always
hoped that in some way any result of my work mi8hr be to 8ive those living in citie5 a better chante to enjov
nature and the beauties of the eouniryside.-

the beauty ol the countryside.

The charlty is pleased with how the charity's funds are being mznaged sinte than8•￿ Slotkbrokers to
Rathbones. The income from these investments help to cover the exptnditurt incurred by the charity in the
Year.
Reserves pollcv
The thar5ty held £621,076 In total fvnds12023.. £657,245). The Original end¢)wment of £72,975 is dassified
separately. The funds have decreased by a totsl of £36.169 in the finan¢ial year.
The charlty holds a healthy bank balance of £24.716.
The level of reserves Is monitored and revièwtd by the trustees as necessary and at least once each year.
