Introduction
The tn￿lee8 submit their accounts to ihe Maria Holland and St. Joseph's Charity for the year
ended 31 December 20L4. The th￿teeS have adopted the PTOViSions of the Statement of
Recommended Practice (SORP) "ALcounting the Reporting by Charilies" (FRS 102) in
preparing the annual report and fmancial ststements of the charity.

al Aims and Activities
The principal activity of the charity throughout the y¢ar was the support of other charitable
undertakings, tbe support of individuals in need and support for educational endeavours.
Review of Activities Financial Perfomiance and Rescrve Poli
During the year the charity made donations amounting to £62900 to charitable and educationa]
causes in line with its main objectives. On a pure Income and Expenditure basis, income
exceeded expenditure bj £116733 for the ycar. due to donations from relatcd settlements. When
gains on investments of £18438 are takeTh inio account there w&8 an increase in funds of
£135171.

Charity law requires the Tnistees to prepare accounts for financial ycar which 8xve a truc
and fair view of th¢ state of affairs of the charity and of its income and expenditure for the year.
In preparing the attached accounts the trustees are required to:
