Activities

The Charity was founded in 1697 to provide a church and vicar, a school and provision for some old people in the village. A new 'Scheme' was established in early 2011 to clarify the Trust aims into a more appropriate setting to reflect the needs of the church, school and community, but by maintaining the original Trust objectives.

Objects: (1) The Relief Of Aged Persons Resident In The Area Of Benefit Who Are In Need, Hardship Or Distress, With Preference To Be Given To Aged Widows;(2) The Advancement Of Education By The Provision Of Items, Services And Facilities For The School;(3) To Further The Religious And Other Charitable Work Of The Church Of England In The Area Of Benefit.
