Objects The will of Mr. B. K. Hufton established this fund to be held on trust exclusively for the furtherance of such charitable purposes, charitable institutions or foundations in such proportions as the Trustees shall, in their discretion, determine. Activities The Trustees meet regularly to review the perfomance of the investment portfolio, which is maintained on an advisory basis, by Redmayne Bentley and to consider any requests that may have been received from various sources for assistance or donations. The Trustees also monitor the overhead expenses lo ensure that they are kept lo a minimum. At 31 March 2025 the total assets of the charity stood at £4,579,286 which is an increase of £453,564 over the position at 31 March 20241£4,125,7221. ACCOUNTING POLICIES Basis of accounting The financial slalements have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis. Governance costs Governance costs comprise all costs involving the public accountability of the charity and ils compliance with r￿UlatIOn and good practice.
