During the year the Trust made 34 ¢h*itatrAe (>)nation$ totaling £42.835 and 3 irnlivKlual donations
tolaling £937 as detailed in note 4 to the financid statements on page 13. The charitable donations
provided by the Charity allows &qch benefici￿ charity to aid sectM)n5 of the putrAic.
Flnanclal roview
The statement of financial activilw shryws that the nel experKliture for the year. after net gains and
losses on investments, amounted lo £72,133 {2024: £15.6421.
The trustees consider the finaroal position of the Charity al the year-end to be srAJnd. No salar￿S are
paid, no Unnecessary expenses have been incuThed arKI Ihefe are m long-lerm commitments to any
third party.
Investmenl powers and policy
Under the trust deed the charrty has the power to make any investment the trustees see fil. The trustees
are Satisf￿ wth the performance of the Charl￿S investments and regulwly Monit￿ them with the
Investment Manag8r engaged lo manage the investments

Reserv•s pollcy
The trustees recognized that the oty'ecls of the charity were unlTri ely lo be satisfied in the foreseeable
fulure and thus there was a need to werate in¢ome for the foreseeable futu￿. The trusle&s recogniz8d
that, gwen the nature of the Irust, further donatv)ns to the trust $P¥xAd not be relied upon.
A reserve was necessary to maintain the avalatk lunds di8tribution from year to ye¥. bearing in
mind that there may be a downtum in the income of the trnsl by reason of economic conditions. A
reserve would also hopefully in medium twm an ir￿reaSe in dFstributions from year lo year
in I￿e with inflal¢on. 11 is rwnized that in order to maintain suffic￿1 investment to ensure as f* as
possible that Ir￿Me rose in line with the above c¥iteria. a reserve newj lo estsblished to
generate increased income over the medium lem.
A reserve was necessary as the demand charilable gfts terxled to be greater when incomes were
l¢)wer by rea50n of low economic activily. A reserve was necessary to maintain income in IWI of the
loss of lax ￿lie1 in lulure years on dNidend wKom8.

The trustees consider that the reserves polw sh(xAd be revivwe(l anwalty in thew autumnlwinter
meeting.
Plans for future
In future years the trustees intend to continue making charitable donations within the income arisSng.
The Irusle85 will continue to ensure that lunds are applied to those most in ne&Y. They regularly monitor
the charity investments in conjunction with the investment manager.

Basis ol accounting

recogni5ed al cost or transaction value unless Othefwise Stat￿ in relevant notels) to these accounts.
The financial slalements have been prepared in accordance with the Slalement of Recommended Practice:
Accounting and Reporting by Charitps preparing their accounts in acc(Kdance with the Financial Reporting
Standard in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102> leffectpie January 2019) - (Charities SORP IFRS
1021 and the Charities Act 2011.
The trust constitutes a public benefit fjntity as defined by FRS 102.
Pr•paration of th• financial stat•ments on a going c¢>nc•rn basis
The charity has a reasonable expectation that there are adequate resources to continue in operational
existence for the foreseeable future. It has therefore cnntinued to adopt the going cOr￿ern basis in
prep￿ing its financial statements.
Income
Income is recognised where thwe is entitlement and there is sUffic￿nI certainty of rec8ipl so it is probable
the amount will be re¢eived. and the amwnl of irtome carb be measured with sufficient reliability.
Investmont income
This is included ￿ the accounis when rtt￿p1 is probaNe. and the amounl T￿e1vable can be measured
reliably.
Invostment gains and lo$s¢s
This includes airy realised or unrealised gains or losses on the sale of tnvestmenls and any gain or loss
resulting from revaluing investments to market value at the end of the year.

RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS
The trustee, R Duckell, was also a trustee (resigned 25 September 2024) of the tharity Henley YMCA to
om donalM)ns were made tolalling £1.(KK) {2024- £1.(K)01 duriro the year.
The trustee, R Millman. is also a Consultant f(Y Dnjces LLP, S￿ICIt(Xs, lo which fees were paid for
adminislralion $eTvl¢e$ provided to the Charity lolalling £10,020 ir￿uding VAT. He derives no benefit from
the fees paid lo Dw¢es LLP for sl￿ serv￿.
