4. GRANTS RECEIVED 2023
During the year the Trust received a grant of £25,080,from Derbyshire County Council, of which £6,887 had be spent by 31 March 2023 with £18,193 carried forward.
5 RESTRICTED FUNDS BROUGHT FORWARD
The annual accounts to 31 March 2022 report at Page 1 that total Unrestricted Bank and Cash Funds were £15,756 whilst at page 2 this is split between restricted and unrestricted balances. A correction to this anomoly is made this year as follows

6 RESTRICTED FUND
These accounts continue to show original grants of £118,592 from The Housing Association and a £4,771 from English Heritage as interest free loans linked to the original purchase of the properties. In the event that this is not so and these grants are not repayable - even on the disposal of the properties - then the total of Restrictive Funds at the Balance sheet date is £125,940.

I report on the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2022 which are set out on pages 2 to 4.
Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and Independent
As trustees of the charity, the members of the PCC are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. They consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 ACT) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my resposnsibility to

examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;

follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by

state whether particular matters have come to my attention
Basis of Independent Examiner's Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the management committee concerning any such matters. The procedures
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with my examination, no matters have come to my attention which give me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with s.130 of the 2011 Act; or

to prepare accounts which accord with these accounting records have not been met; or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanidng of the accounts to be reached.
