## **Objectives:**

Rossington Memorial Hall offers rooms for hire to local groups, charities, children’s parties, fitness classes etc at extremely competitive prices. We have structured our pricing plan to reflect increasing costs. Our main clients come from the Rossington area but we do welcome people from outside Rossington.

## **Principle Activities:**

As of the end of December the building main clients are Rossington SMILE (a group for vulnerable adults) and Rossington Good Neighbours (a meal delivery service run two days per week). Kerry Geddes Dance School, taekwondo classes, local community groups and the Memorial Hal is a Covid Vaccine centre on Saturday and Sunday’s.

## **2022 Achievements:**

This year our income from rentals was just over £36,758. This has risen since 2021 mainly down to the use of the Hall as a Covid Vaccine Centre – this is due to end mid to late 2023.

## **Funding:**

Grants are hard to come by at the moment, but as it stands the Memorial Hall is quite good repair.

## **Reserves:**

As at 31[st] December 2022 we had £51,335 in the bank. This has increased from the end of December 2021.

## **Looking Forward:**

As a large old building the Memorial Hall utility bills are usually quite high. This year has seen the massive increase in utility costs and the Memorial Hall has had to increase rentals to cover some of this cost. The Management Committee were loath to increase to the smaller local groups, due to just getting over the Covid pandemic, so left the rates for these the same but stated that in 2023 the rents would be increased.

## **Insurance:**

Rossington Memorial Hall are covered by Zurich Municipal Public Liability Insurance
