P*r• 1.21
A 12.SVo increase in Weekly Maintenance
Contributions from April, coupled with full
occupancy resull&d in a nel increase in
revenue over the year from this source in
eX￿s$ of £g.000 offset by increases of
over £6,000 in the cost of repalrs.
As a result, Ihe charity recorded a deficit of
£1,020 at the end ofthe year down from
£5,341 In the previou5 year.
However this shortrall could be said to have
been offset fully in the accounts of our two
principal energy suppliers whlch are,
unusualty, debtors following successful
challenges to sums which they had
overcharged eadier in the year.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
slatlng why they are held
Paro 1.22
The Tnjslees endeavour to maintain
sufficient revenue reseNes wllh which to
fund future maintenance and repairs. The
Trustees consider that a minirnum balance
of £5,000 needs to be held in order to meet
working capital requirements and any
unexp8cled shortfalls
income
increases In expenditure.
Amount of reserves held
Para 1.22
