governed by a trust deed dated 2nd May 1923.
The fund is a charftsble unlncorporated body and Is governed by the rules of and in the above trust deed.

When the trustees need to appoint a new trurtee to replace a trustee. it is placed on the nemt available trustees
meeting agenda fordi5cusslon. The members make theirSu￿est1OnS and the boèrd, after a discussion, agree
who should be appmaehed. Sultable candidates need to be known for their pastoral sensltivity and have the
health and well being of sic* and retired clerbw at heart. Once approached and havlng ?ccepted the Invitation to
be a fund trustee, they are welcomed at the next wtlng.

flnancial and otherwise. They are also re5ponslble for safeguarding assets of the Charity and hence fortaking
reasonable steps torthe prevention and detertion of fraud.and other Irregularltles, and to provide re4ssuiance

I have completed my examination. I confirm no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material wespect:

The financial ststements of the charity, which is a public benef•t entity under FRS 102. have
been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 1021 'AttountiThg and reporting
by Charitles: Ststernentof Recommended Practlte applicable to charities preparing their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 2019),, Financial Reporting Standard 102
The Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the iIK and Republic of Ireland. and the
Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historic cost
convention, v￿th the exception of investments which are included at market value. as
modified by the Tevaluation of certain assets.

Expendlture
Liabilitie5 are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or construrtive

measured reliab￿. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been
