in 1998.

A Housing Association Grdnt (HAG) totalling £228228 ￿ made by the Department
of the EnNryronmcnt and w&s utilised to reduce the amount of mortgagc loan to the
&rnount whicb it is estimated can be serviced by the net anttual iDCO￿¢ of the scheme.
Th¢ amount of HAG was calcuiatrd on thc qualifying costs of the scheme in
accordance with Instructior￿ issu¢d from time io time by the Department of the
Envirollmcnt. The graELt Was paid direct to the lending authority. The residual loan
was r¢payabl¢ to th¢ fll)ance provider over a pctiod of 30 ycars.

known that some improyemettts w'ere made in the mid 1960,5 financed by tli£ (now)

cosi of the assets, prior to the present improvements. as a nominal figure of £8630.
Further improvements weff mad¢ b¢tween 1989 and 1991 fmallced by the Housing

Th¢ Sum of the two improvement figures has Eeen tsken as th¢ cost of the propety in
the accounts.
The almshouse5 &re considered to be the only fixed assets of thc Charity and furthcr
