**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF SEAFARERS OR FORMER SEAFARERS AND/OR THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS, BY (A) PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION, AND IF REQUIRED, RESIDENTIAL OR NURSING CARE WITH  PREFERENCE TO: WIDOWS OF SEAFARERS WHO ARE OVER 50 YEARS OF AGE AND IN NEED; AND SEAFARERS WHO ARE OVER 50 YEARS OF AGE AND IN NEED(B) MAKING ANNUAL PENSIONS OR ONE-OFF GRANTS OF MONEY (C) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES(D) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS / BODIES THAT PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES (E) DEVELOPING NEW AND ENHANCED SERVICES BY RESEARCH OR OTHERWISE, AND WHERE APPROPRIATE IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER BODIES / PERSONS

**Activities:** We provide welfare services to needy Merchant Navy seafarers  and their dependants. This is achived by :-the provision of accommodation and support for those who are able to live independentley in  Mariners Park Estate - the provision of residential,nursing and respite care in the Mariners Park Care Home- the provision of annual,one off  grants and a caseworker service
