The Charity's objects are the fijrthcranec of Unitari￿18￿ by the provision of a Church of hi8h sta[￿ard to maxirnise
membership and attendaDce at Church Services.
Results
DuriJ)g the year r￿ipts exceeded payments by £65,140 (2022.. surplus £6,417).
Developments durlng the ye4r
Thc TnLStees are pl￿Sed to announce tha( despit¢ the considerable risc costs for h¢Jting and lighting during the
year. we would have only susiaincd a small deficit ov¢rall while managing to wnlinue our activities as DOrn)al. We
were. however pleascd to receive a considerable bquegt from a dettascd member, Mi3. JeaD Moxham, wbich has
greatly enhanced our finallcial position. On the advice of our stockbrokers we are nut intending to consider any
investrnents at this lime to Lbe current uncertaiTh state of the market.
We have been happy to welcomc several new members duting The y¢8r, and d&spite I05ses caused by the de¢¢ase
of three Indoor members, our numbtrs remain fairly constant.
We are still however, as with most chwEhes today, aD ageing congregatioD aDd our work wilh Pastoral Care to o
members is an increasingly imponant part of our work in the con]munity.
We Continue of course wilh oui. sUPPOrt for variou$ local cbarities and OTgani5aiions as usual.
We havc been rtsr￿nate this year in being able to increase our team of visitiIig rninisters worship Icaders, who,
in th¢ absen¢e of a minislcr of our OW7L provide an invaluable resource, attd their variety of presentation and
vi¢wpoinL help to give our church a ullique forn of worthip in the local brea.
We coniinue as always to be"The Liiile Church with the Big H￿rt "and Strive lo move as always"Onwards and
Upwards"
