Activities
The Charity was established in 1904 and was used to provide children's 'Johnson Tea' - an annual event at Payne's Cafe Royale until the mid 1960's. After being dormant for some years, the Town Council arranged with the Charity Commissioners for a new scheme to regulate the Trust. It is now used to relieve hardship amongst local school children up to the age of 13, under certain conditions.
Objects: Relieving Either Generally Or Individually Children Who Have Attained School Age But Are Not More Than 16 Years Of Age Resident In Llandudno Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship And Distress By Making Grants Of Money Or Providing Or Paying For Items Services Or Facilities Calculated To Reduce The Need, Hardship And Distress Of Such Children Or Otherwise Enhance The Quality Of Life Of Such Children.
