REVIEW

The principal aim of the charity is to maximise income in order to financially assist residents of the Parish of Frampton who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, and specific community causes, which the Trustees consider to be to the benefit of the local community.

A fully detailed review of the financial transactions of the charity is contained within this annual report.

The charity has an obligation to pay two-thirds of its excess of receipts over payments of the assets belonging to the old Frampton United Charities to the Frampton Educational Foundation (charity registered number 527784).

The Trustees have reviewed the risks which the charity faces in relation to its finances and are

satisfied with the administrative systems in place to mitigate its exposure to such risks.

In considering their objectives and planning their activities the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commissions' general guidance on public benefit.

Signed on behalf of the board of Trustees

TOWNLANDS AND UNITED CHARITIES

Report of the Trustees for the year ended 31st March 2025

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025 which are set out on pages 3 to 5.

Responsibilites and basis of report

As the charity’s trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2) the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
