Quorn Town Lands is a long established charity whose aim is to assist the residents of Quorn.The charity also wishes wherever possible to assist organisations and clubs within the village, the only stipulation being that the majority of the members are resident of the village. This condition is required to enable the Trustees to comply with the terms of the Trust Deed.

Objects: 1) A YEARLY SUM OF ú25 OR SUCH OTHER SUM AS THE COMMISSIONERS FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE TO THE VICAR OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST BARTHOLOMEW, QUORNDON. 2) SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENT AFORESAID THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY SHOULD BE APPLIED AS FOLLOWS A) ONE HALF THEREOF FOR ANY CHARITABLES PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST BARTHOLOMEW QUORNDON. B) ONE HALF THEREOF FOR RELIEVING, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY, PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH ST BARTHOLOMEW QUORNDON WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILTIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS.
