**Activities:** THE BRITISH INSTITUTE OF RADIOLOGY IS A SOCIETY WHOSE MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN RADIOLOGY, RADIATION ONCOLOGY AND THE UNDERLYING SCIENCES, AND WHICH EXISTS TO HELP IMPROVE THE PREVENTION, DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF DISEASE. IT DISSEMINATES KNOWLEDGE THROUGH ITS MEETINGS, PUBLICATIONS AND INFORMATION SERVICES.
