Consolldated Trustees Annual Report 2023
General Position
The Society has consolidated its posttion in 2023. with a very successful show being undertaken takin8
advantage of the return to normal artivity following the pandemic and the wonderful weather of early
September.
With the wonderful weather and a fantastic tum out of visttors the society saw its general fund
reserves increase by £4,998 to £166.623 at the 31st De￿mber 2023 whlch represents 130% of the
expenditure for the year.
Alms of the Charfty
The Society has continued its work and main charityaims of delivering an Annual Horse andAgriculture
Show with the purpose of providin8 a shop window for the prize livestock entered into the numerous
classes for Horses. Sheep and Cattle. These livestock classes are supported by a kennel dub registered
DOB show, a large range of Horticultural and Craft classes. sheep shearing competitions and a very
active and varied ran8e of youn8 farmers competitions supported by the ts¥o YFC federations of
Radnorshire and Herefordshire.
In additlon the tfUStees and members of the society have continued to provide a range of main ring
and other entertainment activities to ensure that the visitors to the show enjoy a full and very varied
ran8e of countryslde a¢tlvltles.
The charity hasfor the last few years provided a scholarship of up to £l,1x￿ to support a young person
to develop 2 countryside related business or to undertake a research vistt to a foreign COLbntry on again
an agricultural related business to help them develop their knowledge and understanding of an
alternatlve a8Tlcultural dellvery method.

As the trustees of the tharity we are content that the tharity is in a very SOLtnd financial position with
the general reserves Standing at £166.623 being 130% of the 2022 expenditure level.
