The trustees present their report arTd accounts, which have been prepared on a receipts and
payments basis, for the year ended 15th January 2025. The financial statements have been
prepared in accordance wrth the Charities Act 2011 and the recommendations in Accounting for
Charities". Statement of Recommended Practice.
Structure. governance and management
Governing document
The charty is wnstituted by the Charity Commission and is a registered charity with the charity
nurnber 214513. The charity was fomied in 1896 and became a registered charity on 1st March
1963. The charity is govemed by its constitution, which was adopted on 21st April 1986.
Trustees
A prospective trustee must be fomially proposed and approved by Ihe current commtttee.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose. with
asonable accuracy at any time. the financial position of the charity and to enable them to
ensure that the financial statements comply with the CharÈties Act 2011.
Administration
The charity and the propety thereof specffied in the Statements of Assets and Liabilities shall b8
administered and managed by the body of trustees as recorded under the charity information
within this report.
Objectives, activities and public benefit
The charttable objects of the charity are to provide grants to the needy of the parish of Tydd St.
Mary by the issue of dole payments towards electricity, gas or coal. The charity also provides
educational grants to students.
The trustees believe that the objectives are in accordance wth the Charity Commission's
guidelines on public benefit as shown in the achievements and perfOnTran￿ section below.
Achievements and performance
The funds raised over the finanaal yèar have enabled sufficient grants to be provided to various
beneficiaries totalling £18.750 (2024 £19.781)
The results for the charity for the financial year are detailed on pages 5 to 7.
Invostment policy
The land and investments specified in the Statement of Assets and Liabilities is vested in the
Official Custodian for Charities for all estate and interest therein belonging to or held in trust for
the charity.

Reserves policy
The trustees consider that they have more than sufficient reserves to keep the charity running
and meeting its charitable objectives for the foreseeable future.

for the year ended 15th January 2025
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above chariiy (Ihe Trust,) for the
year ended 151h January 2025, which are set out on pages 5 and 7.
Respective responsibllities of trustegs and examiner
As the charitys trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
wth requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts Ca￿led out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carryTng out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given
by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no Material matters have come to my attention
in conneclion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
1) accounling records were not kepl in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the
2) the accounts do not accord with those records
I have no contsms and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination
to which attention should be dr8wn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
