**Objects:** FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS RESIDENT IN  THE TF10 POSTCODE AREA (INCLUDING THE TOWN OF NEWPORT TOGETHER WITH THE AREAS OF CHURCH ASTON, CHETWYND ASTON, WOODCOTE, MORETON, FORTON, SAMBROOK, TIBBERTON, EDGMOND AND LILLESHALL)  WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM BY PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OR ASSIST THE RECOVERY OF SUCH PERSONS IN SUCH CASES BUT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE TO THEM FROM OTHER SOURCES.

**Activities:** To provide relief in cases of need for people resident in the TF10 postcode area who may be sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.  Help may be provided by paying for items, services or facilities which are calculated to alleviate suffering or assist with recovery where help is not readily available from other sources, but not for the relief of rates, taxes or other public funds
