Objects: • For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of financial hardship or other disadvantage who are aged 50 years or older and are resident in (or have a connection with) the Borough of Maidstone by providing almshouse accommodation, and items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons • For the public benefit, to advance in life young people (less than 24 years) who are resident in (or have a connection with) the Borough of Maidstone by providing a sum per year considered by trustees to be appropriate taking all relevant matters into consideration for the payment of professional fees, tools, training or educational courses, books, travelling or other expenses or by way of apprenticeship, work experience or any help or aid, whether similar or dissimilar to these examples • such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.
