**Objects:** INCOME TO RELIEVE IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS RESIDENT  IN THE AREA OF THE PARISHES OF WOOLWICH AND PLUMSTEAD BOTH AS CONSTITUTED IN THE YEAR 1890 WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM. ANY SURPLUS INCOME MAY BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF GREENWICH.

**Activities:** The objects of the Charity are primarily to provide assistance to persons resident in the parishes of Woolwich and Plumstead who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm. The charity makes grants to individuals, charitable and other organisations as a way of providing benefits to people when other avenues of statutory assistance are either unavailable or exhausted.
