Activities
In June 2007, John Grooms merged with The Shaftesbury Society, a fellow Christian charity providing care, education and support services for disabled people; from that date we transferred our activities together with those of Shaftesbury to Grooms-Shaftesbury, now formally called Livability, creating the largest Christian disability charity in the country.
Objects: (A) To Care For Relieve Maintain Keep Assist Employ Educate Rehabilitate Integrate And Encourage To Achieve A Level Of Independent Living Persons Who Are In Any Way Disabled Or Otherwise In Need And Their Carers (B) To Promote The Activities Set Out In Clause 3(A) Above In Accordance With The Christian Faith And Its Moral Principles Based On Holy Scripture.
