The objects of the Charity are to tnaintain four freehold cottages knowTr as Nos. 2. 4, 6 & 8
Oldfield Road. Flampton. The Cottages are allocated to men or ￿'id0￿¥S of men who have
served as members of the anned forces of the Crow'n with preferenc¢ being gi￿.en to m¢n or
'idoii.'s of men ￿'hO hal'e serN'ed on active service: who reside or ii'ere resident in the area of
benetit (Hampton and Hampton Hill). If no such person applies or is not deemed suitable as
an occupant of the Cottages the Trustees ma}.- consider an). deserN'ins poor of tlie same area.
The main concern of the Trustees is to maintain the Cottages to a reasonable standard so far
as finance is awailable and have the w'elfare of the occupants in mind.
Durin(J ?024 improvemenl work has been underLaken on the cottaoes. The mains ii'ater
supply has been replaced to all coita2es io r¢moi'e all external and internal lead piping and
slop cocks hai-.e been installed outside of each cottage. All cottages have been completely
rewired to ensure regulatory standards are maintained. The kitchen at no 2 has been replaced
and extended inlo the original external toilet to create a larger kitchen.
TAYLOR BEQUEST.
The balance on the TaN"lor Bequest is £40.055.16 and this sum will be invesied in shares
approved by the Trustees. A new accouni has been opened for these shares to be iniested.
