application of tlie funds maintains an historic, listed, dwtllingh(Tru.%e in the c.ity of l.ondon
and siipports the work of the parisli of Great St Bartholomew in the advancelnent ot religi(
and its outreach to the local community and beyond, and in tlie ¢ar¢ of its cliurch bullding:
which are major historic attractions.

The trustees were pleased to ap￿illI Dr David Hanison as a new trustee, following the
resignation of Major CJen¢ral .Teffi'ey M&son. David hrings considerable administrative
experience to the WOTk of the Trusl and a usetul knowledge of historic buildings.

Despite the expenditure on the Gatehouse, the 'frust ended the year in good financial heall
It continued to support tlie work of the parish by linancing the assist2u]I priesl's housing
necds. 'fhe trustees also maintained a good relationship with their tenant. who holds a
stalulory tell￿1¢y.
The trustees record their gratitude to Roy Sully for chairing the trustee body with skill,
cornrnitment and good humour.
