For the Year Endéd 31 December 2022
The Trustees present their report with the financial slatements of the Charity for the year
ended 31 De￿mber 2022. These accounts have been prepared on a re￿IP1S and
payments basis in accordance with the Charity Commission's guides CC15 (Charity
Reporting) and CC16 (Receipts and Payments accounts pack). In previous years the
accounts have been prepared on the a¢¢ruals basis.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Publlc Benefit
The Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit and
consider that the Objects of the Charity are consistent with the provision of public benefit.
Grant making
In 2018 the Charity met with representatives of our partner organisations in India and
Bangladesh to explain the decisions which the Truslees had made to work towards the
transfer of our remaining funds to them and to cease activities in the United Kingdom. Since
then the Trustees have been working towards thal objective and during 2022 the major part
of the funds of two of our subsidiary charities was transferred. During 2023 and 2024 the
majority of the funds held by the principal Gharity and the third subsidiary charity have
likewise been transferred.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable adivities
While it continues in operation the Charity continues to support Christian Missionary work in
India and Bangladesh in particular the Oxford Mission establishments in Behala, Sndia and in
Barisal and Jobarpar in Bangladesh; but also through our subsidiary charities the work of the
wider Church in North India and Bangladesh.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
There was a net decrease in net assets over the year of £302.943 which included the
transfer of the major part of the funds of I￿0 of our subsidiary charities to our partners.
Investment policy and objectives
The investments held as part of the unrestricted funds were required to help finance our
grants to our partner organisations. However the Trustees are Continuing their efforts to
wind up their work in the United Kingdom and at the date of signing this report neariy all the
investments have been ￿alised and the funds transferred.
Reserves policy
The Trustees are aware of the requirement to maintain sufficient reserves in order to meet
the financial obligations of the Charity as they fall due, whilst working towards winding up of
the Charity. Further details are sèt out in the 'Future Plans. section below.

FUTURE PLANS

The Trustees have approached the United Society for Partnership in the Gospel (USPG)
who have agreed to maintain oversight of our partners organisations and retain contact with
our remaining supporters for the foreseeable future.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governlng document
The Charity is controlled by its governing documenl which is a deed of trusl, and il is
constitLrted as an unincotporated charity. Management is vested in the General Committee,
but for many y8ars now the members of the General Committee have been the same as the
Trustees.
Organlsational structure
The Oxford Mission administers three subsidiary charilies which are included in these
accounts and are shown as restricted funds (see the notes to the accounts).
Rlsk management
The Trustees regularly review the main risks facing the work of the Charity and have
concluded that adequate mitigation measures are in plaGe consistent with their future plans.

These accounts have been prepared on a ieceipts and payments basis in accordanee with the Charity
Commission's guides CCIS Icharity Reporting) and CC16 (Receipts and Payments accounts packl
The accounts for the prewous year were prepared on the accruals basis. The comparative figu￿$ for 2021
have therefore been restated to be consistent with the new basis.
The quoted investrnents have been valued at the market value at the balance sheet date. The investments
held for the East Ben8al Bishopric Fund and the Kushtia Diocesan Trust were realised during the year and
the proceeds were transferred to the Church of Ban8lade5h to be invested under the terms of a
Memorandum of Understanding for use in accordance with the original Deeds of Trust. The US minèral
rights were revalued by the Trustees at nil durin8 2021,. while efforts are being made to find a buyer the
potential value, if any, is unknown.
There were no remuneration or other benefits for Trustees for the years ended 31 December 2021
or 2022. Expenses of travel were re-imbursed to one Trustee in the sum of £2.257 in the year
ended 31 December 202212021- Nill.
