Activities

The Maharajah's Well Trust is responsible for the upkeep of the historic monument which is a well, a cottage and a cherry orchard. The well has an Indian style superstructure. Alongside it is a cottage which was originally the warden's. Beyond that is a cherry orchard which is a natural place where the public can enjoy walking or picnics and which contains a playground.

Objects: The Permanent Preservation And Maintenance Of The Land Specified In The Schedule And The Buildings Thereon Known Respectively As The Maha Rajah's Well And Well Warden's Cottage As Places Of Historic And Architectural Interest And Natural Beauty For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Parish Of Stoke Row And The Neighbourhood Thereof And Subject Thereto Of The Public At Large.
