The Trustees, after careful consideration, decided to transfer the Ownership of Beetley and Hoe Meadows – an SSSSI – and Beetley Woods to the ownership of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, as they are the most suitable custodians of this important site, which abuts other property in their care and management (Hoe Rough).
Accordingly the transfer was effected after the Concessionary Footpath through Beetley Woods was made into a Public Right of Way – a condition of the local Parish Council.
The transfer was effected on 01 July 2020 and the funds realised were placed in an investment account, to provide an income and allow the Charity to continue to maintain its other property and make required payments to North Elmham United Charities.
The Accounts for the year 2020-2021 have been audited by Ian Chapman, former Business Manager of Barclays Bank, Dereham on 28 January 2022 and are submitted this day.
