Following discussions in 2006, it was agreed that age or marital qualification was not appropriate for assessing need. There have been no further applications to the Trustees for grants. The Trustees continually review the needs of the Parish and provide assistance where appropriate and within the spirit of the Charity's founder, Dr William Quarles, on 10 April 1727.
Objects: To Relieve Either Generally Or Individually Persons Resident In The Area Of Benefit Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress.the Area Of Benefit Shall Be The Parish Of Witham-On-The-Hill,including Toft With Lound And Manthorpe.
