**Activities:** The Chadwick Trust was set up through a Trust Deed executed in 1890 by Sir Edwin Chadwick to embrace promotion of sanitary science and health, the prevention of disease and the physical training of the population. The Trust supports research and teaching in Public Health and Public Health Engineering at University College London, through the award of prizes, scholarships and fellowships.
