ANNUAL REPORT The Trustees present their report along with the financial statements of the Charity for the year ended 5 April 2026. The financial statements have b¢en prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on page 7 and comply with the Trust Dee¢ the Charities Act 2011 and "(FRS 102)" Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Rcwmmended Practice applicable to Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland effective l January 2019. Strueture, Gov¢rnanc¢ and Management The Fund was eslablished by Trust Deed on 26 September 1949 and is gov¢med by the Trust Deed between Edward Bishop Boughton and Barclays Bank Trust Company Limited the Custodian Truste¢. On 6 September 2001, 8 January 2014 and on 20 April 2015, the Charity Comvnissioners approved a scheme to am¢nd the original Trust Deed to reflect the future structure of the Trnst and discharge Barclays Bank Trust Company Limited from its trusteeship appointing the members of the ¢xisting Committee in their place. Public Benefit The trustees confirni they have compli¢d with their duty under section 4 of the Charllies Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit. Objectlves and Aetivfitles To maximise the income to the Fund to give financial assistance to employees and ex ¢mployees (including their dq)¢ndants) of Whitn&sh PLC (fornlerly Automotive Products PLC} together with the continuing businesses which were UK Subsidiaries of Automotive Pr(Mlucts Group Ltd at any time up to 31 December 2(M)6. who arc, in the opinion of the Trustees, in need of such assistanc¢. The Trustees have given consideration to th¢ Charity Comrnission's general guidance on public benefit wh¢n r¢viewing its aims and objectives. Achievements and Perforniance Grants tota]ling £44,100 were made to 32 beneficiaries during the year (2025: £29,715 to 32 beneficiaries). Flnan¢fial Review The Statement of Financial Activities on page 5 shows net outgoing r¢sour¢es for the year of £32,147 (2025 net outgoing £2,773). The change in the value of the Fund due to recognis¢d gains on investmerAts during the year was £190,358 (2025 recognised losses of £77.207) making the total net movement in the year a increase in the Fund's a&sets of £158,211 (2025: decreas¢ of £79,980). InveSt￿ent Report and Perform2nee The Invesiment Managers aim to nwiage the filnds so that they generatc suffi¢i¢nt income from the investmenls to maintain cuffent ben¢fits whilst also maintaintng the real long-temi value of the investments to support the payment of future benefits. The investment income for the year decreased by £4,422 (8.140/0) due to the general decr¢as¢ in dividends and interest rates in the y&2r. The value of the investments in¢Tea$ed by £160.771 to £1,786,352 which was a slight underperforman¢e cornpar￿ to the benchmarks used by the investment managers. The trustees continue to m¢¢t annually with the investment managers to review inv¢stment strategy and make any changes as deemed necessary to improve overall perfonnance whilst mitigating risk.

THE DORIS BOUGHTON TRUST FUND NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 5 APRIL 2026 Basis of Accounting The financial stalements have been prepared in accordance with the Charity's Trust Deed, the Charities Act 201 I, FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland"("FRS102") and the Charities SORP "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statcm¢nt of Recommended Practice applicable to chartti¢s prcparing their accounts in accordance with th¢ Finan¢ial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)" (eff¢¢tive l January 2019). The charlty is a Public Benefit Entity as d¢fined by FRS 102. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical wst convention with the ¢xcq)tion that investments are included at market value. The charAty constitutes a public b¢n¢fit ¢ntity as defined by FRS102. The trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties about the Trust's ability to continu¢ as 8 going concern. ) Incoming Resources

All ineoming resouTces are reco￿lsed once the Charity has entitlemenl to the resources, it is certain that the resources will be receiv¢d. and the monetary value of incoming resources can be measur¢d with sufficient reliability. b) Resources Expended Expenditure is recognised on an acerl￿1 basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes irrecoverable VAT and is report¢d as part of the ¢xp¢nditure to which it relates. Grants payable are payments made to third parties in the furtherance of the charitable objectives of the Trust. The grants are only recognised in the accounts wh¢n a commitment has been made and there are no condilions to be met relating to the grant which remain in the Charity's conlrol. Governance costs comprise all wsts involving public accountability of the charity and its wmpliance with regulation and good practice. c) Fixed Asset Investments Inveslrnents are stated at market value as at the Balance Sheet date. The statement of financial activili¢s includes the net gains and losses arising on revaluation and disposals throughout the year. d) Realised G8kns and Losses All gains and losses are taken to the stat¢m¢nt of financial activities as they arise. Realised gains and losses on investments are calculated as th¢ difference between sale proceeds and opening market valuc Ipuwhase date if later).
