where at the 31 December 2024 the portfolio was valued 81 £3,632.414.
Flnanclal revlew
The Charitable TrusV$ oveTall fund balances for the year tot81 £3.975.100 compared with £3,703,367 for 2024.
After taking into consideration totsl nel incoming resources, recogni5ed gains and Ios5e5 duiing the yeai,
ornmitments to charitable donations and governance costs, there was an overall increase in the nel movement

The Trustees have also reviewed their grant making capability and wlll, golng fo￿ard, ensure there Is Sufficlent

The Trustèes have delegated Ihe operat￿)n of the investment portfolio to the investsnent advisors who are
responsible for meeting the Charitys Investsnenl Objectives and who are measured against their b8nchmark.
The Trustees consider their investments as expendable endowments, providirwj a relalivety secure and
predictable stream of income from which to make grants. The Trustees aim to distribule a large percentage of the
incomè, net of expenses, in each ffinanryal year and therefore do not maintain income reserves as such.
However. any unrealised gains and the income levgls on the investments held are continually revpwed by the
Tru8tees at their meetings to ensure that they have sufficient knds to meet their objectives.
11 is the policy of the Charsty that unrestr¢cted funds which have not been designeted for 8 specific use should be
maintained at a level equivalent to befvéeen three and six month's expenditure. The Trustees consider Ihal
reserves at this level will ensure that. in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able lo continue the
Charity's current activities while consideration is given to ways in which additional funds may be raised. This level
of reserves has been maintained throughout the Year.
