**Objects:** INCOME TO BE APPLIED IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY SUCH OF THE FOLLOWING PERSONS AS ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEE, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS: (A) WORKERS OF FORMER WORKERS IN OR ABOUT MINES (INCLUDING IRONSTONE MINES) IN THE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE COALFIELD (INCLUDING CHEADLE) WHO HAVE BEEN INJURED IN THE COURSE OF THEIR EMPLOYMENT OR WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ILLNESSES CONTRACTED IN THE COURSE OF THEIR EMPLOYMENT; (B) THE DEPENDENTS OF SUCH PERSONS; (C) THE DEPENDENTS OF SUCH FORMER WORKERS WHO HAVE DIED IN OR AS THE RESULT OF MINING ACCIDENTS OR AS THE RESULT OF ANY SUCH ILLNESSES AS AFORESAID.
