DAGENHAM UNITED CHARITY CONTACTS LOCAL SCHOOLS TO FIND OUT WHERE PARENTS ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. IT THEN PUTS MONEY ONTO A CARD THEY CAN USE IN A LARGE LOCAL SUPERMARKET TO BUY FOOD OR OTHER GOODS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED.DAGENHAM UNITED CHARITY WILL SUPPORT RESIDENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHEN REQUIRED OR IN SUCH EMERGENCIES.

Objects: The Trustees Shall Apply The Clear Income Of The Charity As Follows:a) As To 1% Thereof In Payment Of The Resident In The Area Of The Former Borough Of Dagenham As At 1921-1924 Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress In Accordance With The Provisions For Relief In Need Hereinafter Contained; B) As To 31% Thereof In Relieving Disabled Persons Resident In The Said Former Borough Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress Accordance With The Said Provisions For Relief In Need; C) As To The Remaining 68% Thereof In Relieving Persons Resident In The Said Former Borough Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distressing Accordance With The Said Provisions For Relief In Need.
