The Annle Plm Trust comprfses three self-contslned slngle floor cottages known as the
almshouses, and one house. The propertles are sltuated In Iron Mill Lane, cra￿ord, Kent DAI
4RN.
"almshouses for the ag￿ and deseNing poor belng members of the Establlshed thurch of
England and residing in the sald Parth of Salnt Paullnus, Crayford and the adjolnlng Parfsh of
Bexw. The tsustees let the house at a market renL the sU￿lUS from which is used to pay for
the upkeep of the alrnshouses. Uverniores Estate Agents manage the properties on a day-to4ay
basls for the trustets. In 2020 the chlmneys were made safe and the r(M)ts to the almshouses
and house were replaced, the extertor renderlng was refurblshed together wlth the rdinwater
goods at a totsl cost of £83,694. The house no. 7 was refijrblshed costing £25,433.50. In 2021
no. 9 was completdy refurblshed at a cost of £25,615. The almshouses had new front doors In
2023.
The Theodore Plm Almshouse Augmentatlon fund was establlshed to assist with the upkeep of
the Annle Plm almshouses. The Edward Russell Stoneham endowment fund was establlshed for
the assistan￿ of any respectable parfshloner Ixlng a member of the Church of England, ¢)n
account of111 health or mlsfortune. The Emergency Repair Fund Is an Investment with the
Charitles Officlal Investment Fund (COIF) for future repairs and there Is a cyclical malrtenan
fund for routlne repalrs. Amounts transferred Into these reseNes were In line with the
recommendatlons of the Natlonal Atmshouse Associatton.
The trust deed states that the trustees should be the Incumbent of St Paullnus Church, Crayford
and Its Church Wardens wlth d[Scre￿On to appolnt others for their expertise. The trustees
servlng In 2024 were Rev Paul Prenti￿ (Chair), Davld Day Churth Warden (appointed 2017 for
hls expertlse), Mtchael Onafijwa Church Warden.
Co-opted to the commlttee: Mrs Carol Demuth (Honorary Treasu￿r)
The trustees are requlred under the Charltles kt 2011 to prepare finandal ststements for each
financlal year whlch glve a true and falr vlew of the charlvs finandal actlvltFes durlng the year
arKI of Its financlal posI￿on at the end of the year. In preparlng flnandal statements glvlng a
twe and falr vlew, the tnJStees should follow best practlce and:
(a) Selett suitsble accounttng pollcSes and app￿ them consistently.

Make suitsble judgements and estlmates that a￿ reasonable and prudent.
State whether appllcable accountlng standarts of recommended practFce have been
fdlowed, subjert to any departures disdosed and explalned In the financlal statsments.

presume that the charlty wlll contlnue in operatlon.
The trustts are responslble for keeplng accountlng records, whlch enable them to dlsclose wlth
reasonable accurary the financlal position of the charlty, and for ensuring that they compty wlth
applicable law and regulatlons. They are also responslble for saftguarding the assets of the
charfty and for tsklng reasonable steps for the preventSon and detection of fratKI and other
IrregularIt￿$.
