Activities
We have been supporting people who work or have worked in printing, packaging and publishing since 1827. Our charitable aims include promoting independence, protecting dignity and furthering skills. We meet our aims through providing financial, emotional and practical support, including a free 24/7 helpline, and working with industry partners to champion the sector's emerging talent.
Objects: 1 - The Relief Of Printers Being Aged Or Poor Or Distressed2- The Relief Of Persons Who Are Or Were Dependent Upon Printers Such As Widows, Widowers, Parents Or Children Being Themselves Aged Or In Distress And In Need Of Relief3- The Education Of Printers And And Those Wishing To Become Printer4- The Education Of The Children Of Printers.where:(i) The Term 'Printer' Herein Refers To Persons Who Are Or Were Employed In The Printing Or Allied Trades And Students Thereof; And(ii) The Term 'The Printing And Allied Trades' Herein Refers, In The Discretion Of The Trustees, To The Creation By Physical Or Electronic Methods Of Words And Graphics Which Support Such Creation.
