The Lygon Almshouse8 are govemed by the scheme dated 151h Mar¢h 1977 thl¢h provlded for
sixteen Trvstees.. three ex-offl¢lo, 81¥ nominated by the local authority and Seven co-opted by the
board ol Twstee8 8nd appointed al a special meeting al ￿1¢h all Trustees have the opportunty
lo vole. Qll 5 June 2024 the Trustees voted lo in¢￿ase the number of co-opted Trustees lo 10,
providing loralotal of 19. As laid down in our scheme, co-opted Trustees 'should be persons vtho
through residence, occupation oremploymenl or Othe￿Ilse have special knovledge of the area of
the former melfopolilan borough of FLslham.' They are co￿PIed lor Ihe special skills they can off
to thè ¢h31ily.

The Almshouse had three vacancies at the 8nd of the year which have since been filled. The cost

continued as flats be¢3m¢ vacant and 3 kitchens were renewed during Ihe year. The CCTV syst￿)

lo a summer party in June and a Christmas tea party in December.
Charitable activities showed a deficit 01 £39.206 12023.. £676 defi¢ill. In¢￿ased expenditure on
repairs exceeded increases in weekly malnlenance contributions. There was a gain on investments
01 £72.795 12023.. £50,218 10881, giving a net sL*￿lus for the year of £33.589 12023.. £50,894

Kitchen Upgrades vill continue, where necessary, as flats becomevacanl. The quinquennial review
